From the station to the centre
Murcia del Carmen is on Plaza de la Industria and is open every day from 05:05 to 23:59. To walk to the cathedral and Plaza del Cardenal Belluga, head north along the Alameda de Colón past the Floridablanca garden and cross the river Segura on the Puente Viejo. Bus C5 leaves from the Estación Ferrocarril stop and calls at Glorieta de España, beside the cathedral, and then Gran Vía. Pay the driver as you board at the front door: a single costs €1.05, and drivers give change for notes up to €5.
Murcia's airport at Corvera has no rail link. Interbus runs between the airport and San Andrés bus station in Murcia, and city buses C2 and C4 run from there to the Estación Ferrocarril stop.
