Adif is working in the station from 5 to 12 November 2026, and no trains use it. Renfe runs coaches between A Coruña and Santiago de Compostela for the trains to Vigo, Ourense and Madrid, and between A Coruña and Betanzos-Infesta for the trains to Ferrol and Lugo. Coach departures towards Santiago leave A Coruña about 45 minutes earlier on those days, so the first Madrid connection goes at 04:29, and arrivals can come in up to 45 minutes later. The last trains on 4 November and the first on 12 November may also change. Renfe lets you change or cancel these tickets free of charge.

Which station to use

A Coruña station is on Avenida do Ferrocarril and has ticket sales and car hire. Adif has run a provisional terminal here since 14 December 2024 while the new intermodal station is built. Since 11 July 2026 a further phase of the works has limited train movements between A Coruña and Uxes, on the line towards Santiago, and Adif has not published an end date.

From the station into the centre

City buses 5 and 11 towards the centre stop on Avenida do Ferrocarril at Praza Arraiz, a short walk from the station. Line 5 runs to Porta Real, a short walk from Praza de María Pita, and on into the Old Town. Line 11 runs via Praza de Pontevedra and along the Paseo Marítimo, ending about 650 metres from the Tower of Hercules. A taxi rank is at the station.
