Aime-la-Plagne station is the railway stop for the La Plagne ski area, but it stands in the valley town of Aime, not in the resort: a bus covers the last stretch up the mountain. TER trains call all year, and direct TGV INOUI and OUIGO trains from Paris run in the ski season.

Which station to use

Aime-la-Plagne is the station for La Plagne. It is on Avenue de la Gare in Aime, below the resorts: Plagne 1800, Plagne Bellecôte, Belle Plagne, Plagne Centre, Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil and Aime 2000. The bus station is next to it. The ticket machine sells TER tickets only.

From the station to the resorts and into Aime

Line S71, run by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Région, goes from the Aime bus station to the La Plagne resorts. As of October 2026 the winter 2026/27 timetable has not been published and tickets are not yet on sale on altibus.com, the Region's official reseller; last winter the service ran from 13 December to 25 April. Last winter a single cost €12.50 (€8.90 under 26) and a return €21.00 (€15.00 under 26); ski equipment travels free. Line S70 goes to Montalbert.

The station is on Avenue de la Gare, a short walk from Avenue de Tarentaise, Aime's main street, where the Basilique Saint-Martin and the old centre are, so no bus is needed.
