Frequently asked questions

Who operates Krösatågen?

Krösatågen is a collaboration between six county transport authorities in southern Sweden: Jönköping, Kalmar, Halland, Blekinge, Kronoberg and Skåne. SJ Krösa operates the trains.

Where does Krösatågen run?

Across six southern Swedish counties, roughly bounded by Hässleholm, Linköping, Halmstad and Kalmar. One ticket covers the whole network, whichever regional authority sold it.

Can I buy a Krösatågen ticket on the train?

It depends where you are. You cannot buy on board in Kronoberg, Skåne or Blekinge counties, or on the Emmaboda to Karlskrona stretch. You can buy on board in Jönköping and Halland counties, and on some Kalmar county stretches.

What happens if my Krösatågen train is delayed?

Claim compensation from the regional transport authority you bought your ticket from, not from SJ Krösa. If you hold a Resplus ticket, a separate booking support line can help rebook a disrupted journey.
