Southeastern runs trains across London, Kent and parts of East Sussex. It manages 164 stations over more than 1,000 miles of track, and trades as SE Trains Limited.
Where Southeastern runs
Services connect central London terminals, including London Bridge, Victoria and Charing Cross, with Kent towns such as Ashford International, Canterbury, Maidstone and Dover, and with Hastings in East Sussex. A High Speed service also reaches London St Pancras International from stations including Ashford International and Canterbury West, using dedicated high speed track for part of the journey.
Tickets and fares
Southeastern sells the standard national ticket types: Advance, Anytime, Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets, plus Flexi Season and other season tickets, Key Smartcard tickets, eTickets and sTickets. There are no hidden booking fees on tickets bought directly.
Railcards are accepted, including the Network, Senior, Two Together, 16-17 Saver, 16-25, 26-30, Family & Friends, Disabled Persons and Veterans Railcards, each giving a third off most fares. Group discounts include GroupSave and Group Travel, and PlusBus covers onward local bus travel at many stations. The Kent Rover ticket gives unlimited travel across the Kent network.
Luggage and accessibility
Keep your own luggage with you, or stowed in racks or overhead storage. Not every Southeastern station has step-free access, so heavier luggage needs planning around the station you are using. Left luggage facilities are available at St Pancras International and London Victoria, both step-free stations.
Disabled passengers can get help with luggage by giving at least two hours' notice through the Passenger Assist booking form. Southeastern can help with one item of hand luggage plus up to two larger items, each no bigger than 30 x 70 x 90cm and no heavier than 23kg.

Bikes travel on Southeastern trains, though peak-time restrictions apply if a bike cannot be folded. Trains carry Wi-Fi, and the network map, correct as of November 2023, shows accessibility ratings for each station.
