Avant and AVE services

Avant is Renfe's high-speed medium-distance service for travel between nearby cities. On this corridor, it connects Málaga with Córdoba, Sevilla and Granada. AVE is Renfe's high-speed service between Sevilla and Málaga. The mix of trains changes by date, and some departures leave Sevilla-Santa Justa as early as 06:50.

Choose a departure that leaves enough time for your plans, especially when you have a flight, hotel check-in or onward train. Journey times and stopping patterns can differ between services.

Stations and arrival connections

Sevilla-Santa Justa is the departure station. Allow time to find the departure board and platform, particularly if you are arriving by local transport or carrying luggage. The station name on your ticket identifies where to board.

Málaga María Zambrano is open from 05:00 to 00:45. It has ticket sales, shops, car hire, parking, taxis and links to Málaga's C1 and C2 Cercanías lines, metro and buses. These connections make it practical to continue across the city after the long-distance train.
