Olomouc hlavní nádraží is the city’s main railway station and the normal departure point for intercity trains to Prague.

Praha hlavní nádraží, Prague Main Station, is the main arrival point for most visitors. It sits in Prague’s PID zone P, with ticketing and reservation services on site, metro access and the Airport Express bus stop in front of the building. If you are heading to a hotel in central Prague, this is usually the most convenient arrival station.

Some Leo Express trains also call at Praha-Libeň before Prague Main Station. Use that stop only if it is clearly closer to your final destination.

Rail Passes and Seat Reservations

Interrail and Eurail passholders should check the operator and train category before boarding, a pass alone is not a walk-on ticket for every service on this corridor.

On ČD, the key caveat is the SC Pendolino. ČD describes its SuperCity trains on the Ostrava, Olomouc, Pardubice, Prague route as reservation-required.
