Frequently asked questions

Which lines does Lokaltog operate?

Lokaltog runs 10 lines across Zealand and Lolland-Falster: Østbanen, Tølløsebanen, Odsherredsbanen, Lollandsbanen, Nærumbanen, Frederiksværkbanen, Lille Nord, Hornbækbanen, and the two Gribskovbanen branches to Gilleleje and Tisvildeleje.

How do I buy a Lokaltog ticket?

Use a Basiskort, the Rejsekort app, or the Rejsebillet app for single tickets and season cards. Ticket machines are also available at set stations on Østbanen, Tølløsebanen, Odsherredsbanen and Lollandsbanen. A ticket or checked-in card is needed before boarding, since there is no onboard sale.

Can I bring my bike on Lokaltog?

Yes, bikes and scooters travel free on every Lokaltog line. Space is limited to 3, 6 or 10 bikes depending on the line, and train staff decide whether there is room.

Is Lokaltog part of DSB?
