Euston is the terminus for trains to the Midlands and the North West, and London Northwestern Railway is the company that serves Northampton from there. All trains on this trip are direct, so you stay in your seat and do not change. Euston has Northern and Victoria line Underground stations and bus links, and Euston Square, a short walk away, has the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. King's Cross St Pancras is also a short walk away, which helps if you are arriving from Europe on [Eurostar]() at St Pancras and carrying on to Northampton the same day. With other tickets you can sit in any available seat of the right class. Pass holders can board without a reservation. ## Using an Interrail or Eurail Global Pass London Northwestern Railway accepts Interrail and Eurail Global Passes, with no reservation needed, so your pass covers the trip on a day you have activated. If you live in the UK, a Global Pass covers only one outward and one return journey in your own country, so it does not suit an ordinary trip inside Britain. The Interrail Great Britain Pass is sold to residents of other European countries, not to UK residents. ## Arriving in Northampton Northampton station is on Black Lion Hill, close to the town centre, about a 15 minute walk along Marefair and up Gold Street. It has lifts and step-free access to every platform, a ticket office, shops and refreshments, with staff help available throughout the day and night.
